Racing Services

EssCarGo Racing Services had a huge success on this weekend last (28/29 July). Team Driver Warren Luff was run in a Porsche 993 Supercup GT-2 in the Porsche Cup event at Sydney’s Oran Park.

With Warren not having driven the car at all before practice on Friday, his fastest time in the Wet sessions on Friday was very very impressive.

During the dry qualifying sessions on Saturday, the times were very impressive, yet young Warren was not happy with the balance of the car in the dry. All in all though, qualifying second and third for the two races was pretty impressive. More so, when one considers he was first in Class A in both cases.

An overnight spring change was requested to improve the balance, and the very professional JMC team effected this without question or delay

During the first race Luff was very impressive, starting in third, and passing team mate Martin Wagg in an agressive move to achieve second outright and first in class A for Race 1

Race two saw an error at the start dropping the 993 Supercup to 6th place, only to have Luff fight and dig deep to fight quickly back to third and then spend three or so laps needling his team mate for second place. Common sense saw Luff finish in third rather than bend both $200K plus machines, but his efforts didn’t go unnoticed by the on track commentators.

Overall a second and third outright, translating to two firsts in Class A and a Class A win for the day

The racing services team has been established to support people who wish to seriously compete in motor racing, and for reasons of lack of time and/or expertise, are not in a position to prepare race/rally vehicles, nor logistically organise a professional motor racing effort.

Via our vast race and rally experience, using our workshop, personell and our 10 tonne transporter, EssCarGo racing services can really deliver the dream of a professional motor racing effort to competitors for a very reasonable fee basis.
